Conduent to Join the Conversation at the 15th Annual Diversity & Leadership Conference

At Conduent, we’re proud that multicultural, global teams form the fabric of who we are. We’re also passionate about increasing diversity and inclusion across our organization through a range of company-sponsored programs and individual development opportunities. Building a culture where everyone is valued, respected, and accepted is an ongoing endeavor — and it’s something that no organization should do in a vacuum.

That’s one reason we’re especially proud that three of our senior leaders will participate in important conversations during next week’s 15th Annual Diversity & Leadership Conference. Our team of women executives will share their insights, experiences and expertise on a number of key topics throughout the event. Conduent’s lineup includes:

LGBTQIA Roundtable – 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, Concurrent Session I

Conduent Panelist: Amanda Black, Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion

Understanding the LGBTQIA community is an essential move for businesses to evolve with modern society. The LGBTQIA community offers a diverse array of opinions and advantages, but employees must create welcoming environments to access and serve their community. This session will enable attendees to realize best practices for working with, and for, the LGBTQIA community.

Globalization – 8:45 a.m., Friday, April 12, Concurrent Session I

Conduent Panelist: Erica Ong, General Manager, Media & Entertainment and Professional Services

Globalization refers to organizations that intend to operate on an international scale or have some influence internationally. With the increasing ease of communication, it is now easier than ever for companies to have global reach. This session will discuss the impact globalization has had on diversity and inclusion and focus on how diversity and inclusion can benefit an organization’s international reach.

Essential Negotiation Skills – 10 a.m., Friday, April 12, Concurrent Session II

Conduent Panelist: Sonia Hollies, Vice President and Chief Tax Officer

The ability to negotiate – to advocate and compromise to seek a goal – is crucial for all members of an organization. This is particularly true for leaders as they seek to achieve goals and advocate for their organization. This session will highlight the importance of negotiation for leaders and focus on ways to enhance negotiation skills.

Building a culture of diversity and inclusion benefits our business, our people, our clients, and our communities. Conduent continues to make significant progress advancing its diversity and inclusion agenda, and we look forward to ongoing opportunities to learn, grow and share best practices, both outside and within our organization.
