Conduent Transportation: Well-Positioned to Move Mobility Forward

Strong Leadership Team in Place to Deliver Individualized, Immediate and Intelligent Solutions

Early this month, Conduent Transportation was honored to participate in the ITS America Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., where more than 2,400 attendees from across the industry met around a theme of Intelligent Mobility. As a market leader, we were there to highlight the critical role we play in helping our clients meet their needs — from public safety and curbside management to transit and road usage charging.

I’m proud of our strong presence at the show, and it was clear that our breadth of capabilities makes us well-positioned to guide agencies into the future. Driven by new technologies like cloud and mobile communications, the transportation landscape is changing and the customer experience is evolving. Agencies have to find ways to work together to offer greater interoperability and ease-of-use options for travelers. Clients, too, are looking for strategies like mobility-on-demand, improved accessibility and congestion management to meet their needs.

That’s why our portfolio is so critical, integrating innovative technologies, deep analytical capabilities and end-user focused solutions across different modes. Our technology solutions can reduce commuting and congestion headaches for both drivers and transportation agencies by using individualized, immediate and intelligent systems.

Given the importance of this broad perspective, I also came away from the ITS America show energized, again, about the strong leadership team we have in place. It’s a team with deep expertise and many years of combined experience. It includes Holly Cooper, general manager of Public Safety Solutions; Brett Peze, general manager of Parking & Curbside Management; Jean-Charles Zaia, general manager of Transit; and — as recently announced — Scott Doering, our new general manager of Road Usage Charging.

In addition, just last week we welcomed aboard Mark Brewer as Conduent Transportation’s new chief operations officer (COO). Mark brings nearly 30 years of experience in enterprise software, professional and technology services, as well as portfolio management — most recently, as a senior vice president and managing director at Diebold Nixdorf. He spent 25 years with IBM, where he led the transportation and travel businesses for five years, bringing a parallel and valuable perspective. As Transportation COO, Mark will oversee all operational aspects of our business to ensure consistent, high-quality performance of our products and services. He will also be involved in the implementation process for new contracts as we continue driving digital transformation for our clients.

By adding Mark’s knowledge and experience, our strong team just became stronger. This is an exciting time for our business, and I look forward to working with all of our leaders and employees across the globe. Together, with our clients, we will continue to Move Mobility Forward!
