Engagement and Enthusiasm at NCSEA Policy Forum 2023

The winter holidays are over, and child support practitioners are busy setting goals for 2023 and looking forward to the first conference of the year! The Policy Forum of the National Child Support Enforcement Association (NCSEA) takes place from February 2 – 4 at the JW Marriott in the heart of Washington, DC. Early registration numbers show that over 500 attendees will participate through in-person sessions or virtual attendance. The Policy Forum is always highly anticipated by the membership, as many believe it sets the tone for the year.

“Engagement – Delivering Quality Services with a Passion for Helping Families” is the theme, focusing not only on doing what practitioners do well, but also on the reasons why they do this work with passion. This year’s program points to the necessity of understanding the impact and ramifications of all decision-making. Sessions with an eye to the future remind practitioners to keep balance between the historical foundation of providing quality services, while embracing needed innovations and program evolution. This should be an inspiring and thought-provoking conference!

A glance at the agenda reveals sessions about influencing future child support legislation, understanding the vision of Federal partners, providing inclusive and equitable leadership, and dealing with a declining child support caseload. Qualified speakers will share information and inspire action from attendees who come from around the nation and from other countries. The forum provides an opportunity to learn from the best about what’s working and what needs changing.

Conduent is proud to be a Platinum Corporate Sponsor of NCSEA. Our team of child support subject matter experts participate in the conference and other NCSEA activities throughout the year. We believe in the importance of family-focused programs and we continue to support planning for the future of child support. Opportunities like the annual Policy Forum help us keep up to date on what’s going on in states and counties, so that we can be prepared to assist with new and better technology and the latest in business services for the future.

All the while, our Conduent team keeps in mind that many families need the services of the child support program and are touched by its work. We strive to give them our best efforts by staying informed and relevant to current needs. We look forward to working with federal, state, and local partners and continuing to offer quality services to help children and families.
