Celebrating Child Support Awareness Month 2022

Summertime has been sizzling this year, and August is no exception. But heat isn’t this month’s only signature – it’s also Child Support Awareness Month. Child support work has been highlighted annually in August since President Clinton established the official recognition of Child Support Awareness Month in 1995. This well-deserved recognition calls attention to the accomplishments of the child program and its employees.

Child support professionals earned this attention by helping families through federal, state, county, tribal, and international programs aimed at supporting children and families. Conduent is proud to support their efforts to improve performance, to ensure timeliness of payments, and to provide the best in customer service and new technology. Our team understands the value of the child support program to those it serves, and we strive to serve them well.

In keeping with this goal, Conduent will again be a main sponsor of the National Child Support Enforcement Association (NCSEA’s) annual Leadership Symposium, slated for August 7 – 10 in Charlotte, North Carolina. This year’s theme challenges attendees in its title: ”Level-Up: Transforming Tomorrow’s Leaders.”  Conduent’s wonderful team of child support experts will be there to listen, learn, and level up alongside practitioners.

Walt Frye, Conduent’s Global Head of D&I and Corporate Responsibility, speaks in a Monday workshop entitled “How Can Data Level Up Equity in Your Program,” along with myself and Erin Frisch, Michigan Child Support Director. On Tuesday, Robbie Endris, Client Partner, will speak on a panel about “Level Up Leadership: Transforming Your Leadership Path in Child Support.”

So if you’re attending the NCSEA Leadership Symposium, we look forward to seeing you there! Please stop by our booth in the Exhibit Hall, booth 200, to learn more about our offerings and to share your thoughts about ways to best serve child support agencies and customers.

We’re proud to have a 30-year history as a trusted operations partner to child support agencies across the country, helping them improve technology and services for children and families. From our first partnership to process child support payments in 1991, we’ve grown to process more than $11 billion, or approximately one-third of all U.S. child support payments, every year. We also have the most extensive portfolio in the industry, incorporating services from business intelligence and customer care to identity and account validation, card and electronic disbursements, and child support enforcement systems.

Bring on the heat, August! We’ll be keeping it cool in Charlotte and beyond.
