Conduent Waives License Fee for U.S. Public Health COVID-19 Surveillance

Qualified U.S. state- and territorial-level public health agencies have gained an invaluable weapon in their fight against COVID-19.

Given the critical need here in the U.S., where Maven is primarily used, Conduent is waiving the software license fee for the Maven® COVID-19 module through June 30, 2020.

The Maven COVID-19 software application is currently offered at no cost to eligible U.S. public health organizations through June 30, 2020.

The Maven platform was made available on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March. Amazon acknowledged our partnership agreement in its daily COVID-19 blog.

Our Maven solution was also recently configured to help public health agencies securely engage patients, and track, manage and report on cases, along with those who may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Now, our Maven COVID-19 module is ready to be rapidly deployed by qualified state- and territorial-level public health agencies to help them quickly implement scalable, timely, secure reporting and inform containment decisions to help ‘flatten the curve.’

The Maven COVID-19 module gives public health organizations a scalable, commercial off the shelf (COTS) solution for quick, ready-to-use COVID-19 contact tracing that adheres to CDC reporting requirements.

Qualified state- and territorial-level public health agencies face multiple challenges as they work to securely track, manage and report on cases of COVID–19. Some U.S. state and local public health organizations have relied primarily on manual processes, including spreadsheets and phone calls to track and monitor the virus’s spread.

Others, however, already rely on Maven. Maven is a proven application used by approximately 40 organizations, primarily U.S. public health agencies, as well as international clients, to manage cases of more than 90 communicable diseases, such as Ebola, Zika, measles, tuberculosis, HIV/STDs and influenza.

Public health organizations need comprehensive surveillance and outbreak management to share timely information and analytic insights among epidemiologists, medical professionals and public health departments. They require relevant and efficient data interoperability, along with rich contact tracing and robust reporting to efficiently identify and track those at risk, make informed outbreak containment decisions, and provide all relevant stakeholders with timely, accurate information. The Maven COVID-19 module can even help them visualize the spread of the virus, using data aggregation and visualization tools that offer textual and geographic visualizations of outbreak areas and case clusters.
